LOS ANGELES Titanium distributors have seen mill product delivery lead times shrink in the past two months as this years market continues to fall below their earlier expectations.
Few buyers have what they consider to be a convincing explanation of why lead times have contracted at a time when they should have stretched as commercial transport production increases. "There doesnt seem to be a magic bullet answer to why this is happening," one service center executive said.....
