Brass scrap prices fall as Comex dips

NEW YORK Prices for some brass scrap items have weakened due to a drop in Comex copper prices this past week, even as tight supplies of copper scrap have kept most spreads from widening.
Red brass prices have weakened to between $2.70 and $2.71 per pound from between $2.70 and $2.73 per pound the previous week, while radiator prices have fallen to between $2.25 and $2.28 per pound from between $2.28 and $2.30 per pound previously.....
