DLA sells ferrochrome, ferromanganese

NEW YORK — DLA Strategic Materials sold 490 tons of low-carbon ferrochrome in March for $1.25 million, equivalent to $1.94 per pound (chrome contained), according to AMM calculations.

The material was bought by the Pittsburgh-based ferroalloys arm of David J. Joseph Co. and Switzerland’s GfE-MIR Holdings AG, parent of U.S. ferroalloys trader Varomet Corp.—the same companies that bought 560....
