Vietnam’s HRC buyers shun import market on pale demand

Vietnam’s buyers are staying away from the hot rolled coil import market for the fourth consecutive week as weak demand persists at home.
No bookings have been reported this week for commercial grade HRC. The last reported transactions were at $635 per tonne cfr four weeks ago.
“Stock levels are still high in Vietnam. There is no hurry to order more,” trader....
