Essar Steel commissions 6m-tpy pellet plant in Orissa

Essar Steel has commissioned a 6 million-tpy pellet plant at Paradip in the eastern Indian state of Orissa, md and ceo Dilip Oommen said at a press conference in Mumbai on Monday April 9.
“The pellet plant is part of our plan to secure iron ore supplies for our integrated steel plant at Hazira in Gujarat. The focus will be to complete the Orissa project in its entirety and ramp up capacity at Hazira,” Oommen said.
