Chinese HRC prices continue to rise on lower inventory, higher exw prices

Chinese domestic prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) rose further this week due to a large reduction in inventory and price increases by steel producers.
In Shanghai, commercial-grade HRC of 4.5-12mm thickness was changing hands at 4,330-4,340 yuan ($684-686) per tonne on Monday April 9, including 17% VAT, up by 20....
