CHICAGO Steel supply and demand appear to have reached equilibrium in March, according to the Institute for Supply Managements latest Steel Buyers Forum survey.
The survey results, released Tuesday, showed slight movement in steel inventories compared with outbound shipments in March vs. February. There was no change in the balance between inventory and demand, and the number of buyers who expect to reduce their steel buys in the next six months....
