Shanghai copper prices drop 2.7%, tracking LME falls

Copper prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange plunged to their lowest level since mid- January on Wednesday April 11, after LME copper tumbled to a near three-month low overnight. SHFE July copper settled at 58,030 yuan ($9,172) per tonne, down 1,590 yuan from Tuesday. Trading volume of the contract rose by 7,148 lots to 475,980....
