Indian ferrous scrap import prices stable on high freight costs

High container freight costs for April and May shipment have kept imported ferrous scrap offer prices into India unchanged this week, market participants told Metal Bulletin. Buying interest was thin among Indian mills, with finished product prices and a weak rupee putting importers off scrap bookings.
