Base metals prices firm in LME pre-market

Base metals prices improved in pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Thursday April 12, as copper defended $8,000 per tonne and traders predicted a break higher.
Three-month copper opened at $8,055 per tonne and was trading at $8,120.75 per tonne at 10:05 BST.
