Shanghai copper prices down on week as market mulls weak economic data

Shanghai Futures Exchange copper prices fell 2.8% on the week due to the slowing economy in China, the world's biggest copper consumer. SHFE July copper settled at 58,370 yuan ($9,230) per tonne, on Friday April 13, up 230 yuan from Thursday, but down 1,700 yuan from a week ago. Its SHFE inventory only decreased 265 tonnes to 221,827 tonnes this week. "Most figures from China this week....
