Rathdowney zinc project could incorporate Boleslaw smelter infrastructure

When Poland’s Pomorzany zinc mine life ends in 2015, it may provide an opportunity for Rathdowney Resources’ Olza project take advantage of the existing infrastructure at the Boleslaw complex, ceo John Barry told Metal Bulletin.
Canadian-Irish explorer Rathdowney is developing Poland’s historical zinc deposit near Zawiercie, which is located near the Boleslaw complex, after receiving a concession in 2010.
“At this point we are looking at a deposit with a potential total metal endowment of 13 billion pounds of zinc....
