RG Steel confirms idling of Md. mill operations

NEW YORK — RG Steel LLC has confirmed it is idling the tin mill operations at its Sparrows Point, Md., steelmaking facility.
"As we optimize our operations and repurpose facilities, some of the tin mill units are being temporarily idled," an RG Steel spokeswoman said in an e-mail.....
