Accuride to spend $8.73M to up wheel output

NEW YORK — Accuride Corp. plans to increase its aluminum wheel production capacity at its Camden, S.C., plant.

Evansville, Ind.-based Accuride will invest at least $8.73 million in the facility to add two machine lines used to produce forged commercial truck and trailer wheels, a spokeswoman told AMM.

Accuride aims to bring the new lines on by the fourth quarter this year, she added. ....
