Rio Tinto Q1 aluminum output falls 9%

Rio Tinto's first quarter aluminium production fell 9% due to a lockout at its Alma smelter and the closure of its Lynemouth plant, the company said on Tuesday April 17.
First quarter aluminium output at Rio Tinto was 854,000 tonnes compared with 944,000 tonnes in the first quarter of 2011. ....
