LAS VEGAS Proposed changes to secondary aluminum smelters emissions standards by the Environmental Protection Agency raises engineering and safety concerns, according to the Aluminum Association.
Charles Johnson, the Aluminum Associations vice president for environment, health and safety, told AMM that the group has taken issue with a number of the EPA proposals, including requirements of "hooding" uncontrolled Group-1 furnaces.....
