Sapa investments aimed at rising demand

NEW YORK Sapa Extrusions North America is investing in a number of its domestic facilities as it looks to position itself to meet rising extrusion demand this year.
The Rosemont, Ill.-based division of Swedish aluminum extruder Sapa Group is forecasting North American extrusion demand growth of between 5 percent and 8 percent this year, with all end markets barring building and construction expected to experience a pickup, Charlie Straface, general manager of Sapa Extrusions Industrial, told AMM.....
