NJ broker files two suits vs. two metal firms

PITTSBURGH New Jersey scrap broker Global Metal Scrap Inc. has filed two lawsuits against metal companies: one over a deal gone wrong and the other involving payment for steel that it claims was never delivered.
The Marlboro, N.J.-based company filed a breach-of-contract and unjust-enrichment lawsuit against SMI-Metalx USA LLC of Orland Park, Ill., in U.S. District Court in New Jersey. It is seeking $76,534, alleging that SMI sold deficient scrap in one transaction and didnt deliver the material at all in a second.....
