PITTSBURGH The U.S. Justice Department has taken legal action against an Ohio metals recycler for allegedly ignoring an order issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The Justice Department has filed a federal Clean Air Act lawsuit against Bedford Heights, Ohio-based Southeast Metals Inc. stemming from accusations by the EPA that the recycler failed to safely dispose of refrigerants, such as fluorocarbons, from vehicles and appliances.....
