PITTSBURGH — A strong flow of domestic scrap metal coupled with increased U.S. imports have created an imbalance between supply and demand, but prices could be poised to rebound, Steel Dynamics Inc.’s (SDI) top executive said.

"It is difficult to predict movement, but higher demand (from steel mills) and export improvement could support moderate upward price movement in the months ahead," SDI president and chief executive officer Mark Millett said.....
