Mwana’s Hunters Road nickel project on backburner due to cash squeeze

London-listed Mwana Africa has placed its 11,000 tpy greenfield Hunters Road nickel project on the backburner due to problems with raising capital for Zimbabwean mining projects.
Hunters Road nickel deposit, previously touted as the future of Mwana Africa’s nickel operations, requires a capital outlay of more than $200 million to bring it into commercial production.
