European aluminium premiums rise in tight market

European aluminium premiums rose on Wednesday April 25 as traders and financial investors provide the bulk of demand in a tight market.
“It looks like autos are losing momentum across the board, and on the foundry side the market is not asking for any more material,” a producer said. “The bid demand is coming from traders and investors.”
