Recycler claims rival driving it out of business

PITTSBURGH A recycler has filed an antitrust lawsuit alleging that a competitor is trying to drive it out of business.
Iron Mountain Recycling LLC of Gatesville, Texas, has accused England-headquartered European Metal Recycling LLC (EMR) and wholly owned New Orleans-based subsidiary Southern Recycling LLC (SoRec) of boycotting its scrap metal in an effort to destroy the company.
Iron Mountain had been regularly selling material to SoRecs Lake Charles, La., shredder, according to the complaint filed in federal District Court in Louisiana, but on Feb. 22 Iron Mountain was informed in an e-mail that its material would no longer be accepted.....
