ASIAN FUTURES: Asian business has grown by an annual 15-20% – Marex Spectron

Business conducted on the London Metal Exchange by brokers for their clients in Asia has grown by 15-20% annually in recent years, Marex Spectron md Gavin Prentice estimated. “In metals, over the past ten years, the market in Asia has grown by 15-20% every year. We’ve certainly seen that kind of growth in our business, in terms of new clients, client acquisitions, new FCMs being built in Hong Kong serving the high net-worth individuals,” Prentice said.  The privately-owned brokerage firm is increasing its presence in a number of key regional markets, and its offices in Hong Kong and Singapore are crucial to that, Prentice said.
