Base metals prices up on weak dollar in LME officials

Base metals prices rose during the official session on the London Metal Exchange on Thursday April 26, on a weaker dollar.
Copper prices strengthened to $8,255/260 per tonne, basis three months, from $8,209.75 at the open, and hit a new high for the day of $8,289.25.
News emerged during the day that US financial stimulus and quantitative easing is at an end, at least for the time being, pushing the dollar....
