Lead, zinc prices stable amid weak demand

NEW YORK Free-market lead and zinc scrap prices remain largely steady amid weak demand.
Whole auto batteries were the only grade to record any change Wednesday, with the price range widening to 40 to 43 cents per pound from 40 to 42 cents previously.
But the lead scrap market as a whole has been quiet, with demand so low that even a lack of supply is not enough to push prices up, lead scrap traders told AMM.....
