NEW YORK Boeing Co.s suppliers will face increased scrutiny as the airplane manufacturer seeks to minimize supply disruptions and contain escalating costs during the current upcycle in build rates, according to a top Boeing executive.
"Well be intrusive, because we cant be exposed to all those risks," John P. Byrne, the companys vice president of aircraft materials and structures, said at AMMs 6th Annual Aerospace Materials Conference in Pittsburgh.....
