Kaiser plans 2d-qtr. Trentwood outage

NEW YORK — Kaiser Aluminum Corp. is pushing ahead with an outage at its Trentwood, Wash., rolling mill in the second quarter.

The Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based producer plans to take a furnace at its Trentwood facility offline for a few weeks, which the company expects to have an adverse effect on value-added revenue in the second quarter, according to Kaiser president, chief executive officer and chairman Jack Hockema.....
