Spot 63.5% Fe iron ore prices dropped $2 this week

China's imported iron ore prices fell this week, as weak steel prices and the cautious outlook for downstream demand depressed the market.
Spot prices of 63.5% Fe content Indian fines stood at $147-149 per tonne cfr on Friday April 27, unchanged since Wednesday, but down $2 for the week.
"The spot market is quieter today as the festival mood has set in," one iron ore trader in Hong Kong told Metal Bulletin.
