NEW YORK — Two silicon powerhouses emerged as successful bidders of Timminco Ltd.’s assets Thursday.
QSI Partners Ltd., a subsidiary of Globe Specialty Metals Inc., and Madrid-based Grupo FerroAtlántica SA put forth a combined bid of about $34.5 million for Timminco’s assets, with both bids subject to court approval, Timminco said.....
