Glencore funds aluminium furnace in Bosnia

Bosnian Aluminij Mostar will complete a new casting furnace by December to boost production of primary aluminium by over 20% from next year, ceo Ivo Bradvica told Metal Bulletin.
Aluminij expects to produce 130,000 tonnes from its electrolysis plant and 30,000 tonnes from remelting in the new cast house furnace in 2013, taking total production to 160,000 tpy, he said. The commercial production of ingots should....
