Felman holds line on Mn alloy prices for May

NEW YORK — Manganese alloy supplier Felman Trading Inc., Miami, is holding its prices steady for May, with the floor price for silicomanganese still at 80 cents per pound and high-carbon ferromanganese at $1,600 per long ton.

Silicomanganese in the domestic market is trading between 70 and 75 cents per pound, with unconfirmed sales recently reported above this level. High-carbon ferromanganese is between $1,300 and $1,325 per ton. ....
