NEW YORK Norsk Hydro ASAs earnings fell in the first quarter due to lower aluminum prices and weak demand in European markets.
Norsk Hydro reported underlying earnings before interest and taxes (Ebit) of 557 million kroner ($97.3 million) in the first quarter, down 50.8 percent from 1.13 billion kroner in the fourth quarter and 61.5 percent below the 1.45 billion kroner recorded in the same quarter a year earlier.....
