Base metals prices up, more short covering to come in LME pre-market

Base metals prices remained in their upward trajectory during pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Monday April 30, as the market continues to follow rising copper prices.
Copper prices opened at a three-month level of $8,440 per tonne, and have found resistance at about $8,460, a category I trader told Metal Bulletin.
