Khouzestan increases semi-finished steel output by 8% in March-April

Khouzestan Steel, one of Iran’s major steelmakers, increased its semi-finished steel output by 8% year-on-year in the first month of the Iranian calendar year starting on March 20, according to the Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organisation (Imidro).
The company produced 312,000 tonnes of semi-finished steel in the month, Imidro reported.
