Unified ICMS tax corrects competitive asymmetry: IABr

The competitive asymmetry between Brazil’s states has been corrected, the country’s steel institute IABr said following the approval of a single tax on the internal circulation of goods and services last week.
“The senate has rectified a serious distortion in the Brazilian economy, which had been injuring both production and job creation,” IABr told Metal Bulletin on Monday April 30. ....
