Anglo American, Lafarge must sell UK operations to win joint venture approval

The UK Competition Commission has told Anglo American subsidiary Tarmac and Lafarge to sell some of their UK operations if they are to receive approval for their proposed construction materials joint venture, according to a statement published by the regulator on Tuesday May 1.
