NEW YORK Free-market aluminum scrap prices have risen as buyers compete for a tight scrap pool, with stable London Metal Exchange prices also lending support.Old sheet prices have risen a penny to 73 to 75 cents per pound from 72 to 74 cents previously, while old cast has increased to 76 to 78 cents per pound from 75 to 77 cents.
