NAS lowers stainless bar product prices

NEW YORK — North American Stainless Inc. (NAS) has lowered prices on most of its 300-grade stainless steel bar products in order to support a recent doubling of its bar-finishing capacity, market sources have told AMM.

"NAS dropped their (base) price on 303, 304 and 316 (stainless) bar up to 3 inches in diameter by 2 cents per pound, and over 3 inches by 3 cents per pound," one market source said.....
