UK secondary aluminium stable on lack of business

UK secondary aluminium ingot prices were flat on Wednesday May 2, with little buying interest from domestic consumers and export markets still closed by prohibitive exchange rates and a lack of available freight space on eastbound shipping.
“We’ve not placed any orders for a while,” a diecaster said. “We’ll be quiet for the next three months and then there’ll be a busier autumn.”
