PSC Metals reports loss despite higher sales

PITTSBURGH Higher sales and shipments werent enough to bolster results for PSC Metals Inc., which swung to a loss during its fiscal first quarter.
The Mayfield Heights, Ohio-based division of Icahn Enterprises LP posted an operating loss of $2 million during the three months ended March 31, in contrast to an $8-million operating profit in the year-ago quarter, despite sales that rose nearly 19 percent to $332 million from $279 million.....
