Mueller Water Products logs loss following U.S. Pipe sale

TORONTO — Mueller Water Products Inc.’s losses deepened in its fiscal second quarter and first half, a trend the company said resulted from the sale of its U.S. Pipe & Foundry LLC and Fast Fabricators Inc. businesses (together known as U.S. Pipe).
That Atlanta-based water infrastructure company reported a net loss of $109.8 million for the fiscal second quarter ended March 31, widening from a $13.7-million loss in the same period a year earlier, despite sales that rose 6.8 percent to $251.5 million from $235.5 million.....
