BlueScope sells Metl-Span to Houston firm

LOS ANGELES BlueScope Steel Ltd. has divested part of its U.S. portfolio in a move that appears to leave the rest of its North American building products operations still in the fold of the Australian steelmaker.
BlueScope has sold Metl-Span LLC, a Lewisville, Texas, supplier of insulated metal building panel products, to NCI Group Inc., a Houston-based coil coater and manufacturer of metal components and building systems owned by private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC, for $145 million. The sale will net Melbourne-based BlueScope $117 million....
