Nickel drop weighs on UK 18/8 stainless scrap solids prices

Prices for stainless steel scrap solids in the UK inter-merchant market fell this week, forced down by drops on the LME nickel market, merchants told Metal Bulletin.
UK 18/8 solids were trading at £1,130-1,160 per tonne delivered ($1,829-1,877) on Friday May 4, down from £1,140-1,190 on April 27. ....
