Metal Bulletin’s fob Australia alumina index fell to $317.88 per tonne on Friday, May 4, from $319.50 a week previously, as the spot market remains quiet.
The market has been hit by absences over the May Day weekend, participants said, and demand is expected to pick up again in the coming weeks. ....
