TORONTO Handy & Harman Ltd. saw its earnings jump in the first quarter, partly due to stronger tubing segment results.
The White Plains, N.Y.-based diversified industrial company posted net income of $5.1 million for the three months ended March 31, up 5.7 percent from $4.8 million in the year-ago period, on sales that rose 7 percent to $164.1 million from $153.3 million.....
