Aleris set to start idled press in Tianjin

NEW YORK Aleris International Inc. will start up an idled extrusion press at its facility in Tianjin, China, during the second quarter.
The press was moved to Tianjin from the companys facility in Belgium to "help meet growing automotive demand in the China region," chairman and chief executive officer Steven Demetriou said during the companys first-quarter earnings conference call Friday.
