Drew Industries logs gains as RV sales climb

NEW YORK — Drew Industries Inc. posted solid first-quarter earnings on the back of strong sales in the recreational vehicle (RV) sector.

White Plains, N.Y.-based Drew, a supplier to the RV and manufactured-home markets and parent company to aluminum extruder Lippert Components Inc., reported net income of $11.1 million in the first quarter, up 18 percent from of $9.4 million in the same quarter of last year. ....
