NEW YORK — Scrap metal recycler and container-loading-system manufacturer Advanced Steel Recovery LLC (ASR) is suing three companies for allegedly infringing on a recently awarded patent.
The patent—called the Container Packer System And Method, issued Nov. 22, 2011—is allegedly being willfully misused by X-Body Equipment Inc., Rocklin, Calif.; Paladin Brands Group Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and Jewell Attachments LLC, also of Cedar Rapids, according to a late-April filing by Fontana, Calif.-based....
