Brazil's car output falls as sales continue to struggle

Car production in Brazil fell by 15.5% month-on-month in April, to 260,820 units, the country’s automotive industry association, Anfavea, said on Tuesday May 8.
In the January-April period, Brazilian carmakers produced 998,930 vehicles, down 10.1% year-on-year.
Such a decline is due to high inventory levels and reduced credit availability, according to Anfavea. ....
